The University of Sheffield is offering ‘international postgraduate scholarship 2024’ to foreign students joining the varsity to study a taught masters programme in September 2024. The scholarship is worth £2,000 for courses in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Faculty of Social Sciences and £2,500 for courses in the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Health, and Faculty of Science.
Candidates should remember that no application is required for this scholarship, as subject to meeting the eligibility and award criteria, the international postgraduate taught Sheffield scholarship 2024 will be awarded automatically. Also, the scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction only.
Eligibility and award criteria
— To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be a national of or permanently domiciled in India.
— The taught masters programme must be scheduled to commence at the University of Sheffield in September 2024.
— Candidates should have accepted the offer for course before 4 pm (UK time) on June 14, 2024 to receive this award.
— Masters programmes split between the University of Sheffield and a partner institution are not eligible for a scholarship.
— Interested candidates should be self-funded and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes.
Part-time students will receive the full-time equivalent of the scholarship split pro-rata over the duration of the Masters course, subject to all eligibility and award criteria. Also, Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) and Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) courses are ineligible for the international postgraduate taught scholarship 2024.
