The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Rohtak has begun the registration process for the five year integrated law programme (BBA+LLB).
Interested candidates can apply for the five year Integrated Programme in Law (IPL) via two ways. First is through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2023 score-card — admission.iimrohtak.ac.in/SignUp/IPL — and second is through the IIM Rohtak’s IPM Aptitude Test (AT) 2023 — cdn.digialm.com/EForms/configuredHtml/2349/81497/login.html
The last date to register through the CLAT scorecard for the five year law programme is April 20 and the last date to apply through the IIM Rohtak’s IPM AT 2023 is April 10, 2023.
Eligibility
— General, NC-OBC and EWS category candidates should have a score of minimum 60 per cent in class 10/SSC and 12/HSC. Maximum age should be 20 years as of June 30, 2023.
— SC/ST and PWD(DAP) category candidates should have a score of minimum 55 per cent in class 10/SSC and class 12/HSC. Maximum age should be 20 years as of June 30, 2023.
— Even those candidates can apply who are likely to finish their Class 12 by June 2023 subject to minimum eligibility criteria. These candidates, if selected, would be offered admission provisionally. The candidates at the time of registration will be required to produce Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, along with the migration certificate in order to avoid the cancellation of his/her admission.
How to apply
Step 1: Visit the official websites, mentioned in the first paragraph.
Step 2: Fill the application form, and submit all the required documents.
Step 3: Pay the application fees.
Step 4: Submit the application form.
Step 5: Download and save the application form for future reference.
CLAT Examination (Common Law Admission Test) 2023: Interested candidates can register for IIM’s Rohtak IPL through the IPL Registration Portal using the CLAT application number. The eligible candidates would be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 3890.
IPM Aptitude Test (AT) 2023: Those candidates who did not appear for the CLAT 2023 and interested in the IPM AT can also apply for the IPL by appearing for the IPM 2023. These candidates, during the registration process, will have to select the option of IPL Programme along with IPM Programme and will appear for four sections (Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, and Legal Reasoning,) at the IPM AT 2023. The eligible candidates would be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 4175.
After the application and test process, IIM Rohtak will send a schedule for personal interviews in the first week of June, and the interviews will be conducted in the second week of June.
Once the offer letter is sent to the selected candidates, they will be required to pay the first year programme fee and would be required to report to the institute for the registration.
The academic session will begin in the first week of August.
The five year programme being offered by IIM Rohtak has been recognised by the Bar Council of India and is a non residential programme housed at IIM Rohtak extension campus (Gurugram.)
