To be eligible, the applicant must –
- be an Indian national
- be studying from Class 11 to post-graduation from any university recognized by the UGC/AICTE
- have more than 40% disability certified by the competent authority
- have an annual family income of less than INR 2,50,000
Note –
- Employed students whose income does not exceed that of the scholarship amount can apply for this postmatric scholarship. Students pursuing their courses by correspondence are also eligible.
- 50% of scholarships are reserved for female candidates.
The selected scholars will receive financial assistance as follow –

Note:- The list of courses grouped (I to IV) is only illustrative and not exhaustive. The State Governments/Union Territory Administrations are, thus, themselves competent to decide the appropriate grouping of courses at their level.

Reimbursement of Compulsory Non-refundable:
Students will receive reimbursement for the compulsory fees they pay to their college, such as tuition fees, enrolment fees, games fees, union fees, library fees, magazine fees, and medical examination fees. The maximum amount that can be reimbursed is INR 1,50,000 per annum. Refundable deposits, such as caution money and security deposits, are not included in the reimbursement.
Note: Recognized institutions can fully reimburse the compulsory non-refundable fees charged for both free and paid seats in recognized courses, up to a maximum ceiling of INR 1,50,000 per annum.
A book allowance of INR 1,500 per annum will also be provided.

Eligible students can apply for the scholarship through the following steps –
Step 1: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ link below.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Register’ button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to ‘Applicant Corner’and click on ‘New Registration’ tab.
Step 4: Read the details carefully, tick the checkbox and click on the ‘Continue’ button.
Step 5: Enter mobile number, captcha code, and OTP, then submit.
Step 6: Fill in the required details and click on ‘Save & Register’ to complete the registration process.
Step 7: Now click on the ‘Fresh Application’ tab and log in using the application ID and password.
Step 8: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and submit the application.
Note – All the applicants are advised to fill the form correctly, no changes can be made once submitted. The applicants are also advised to fill in only one application as multiple applications will cancel the form.
